“Who Am I”

Being real is better than being perfect

We all try hard to be perfect in various ways. Doing our jobs perfectly, no matter how much we hate them to be honest, we want our homes to look perfect, irrespective of the endless hours and the mental trauma we go through cleaning it all day, our kids should be perfect and all rounder even if we push them hard into things, relationships are very delicate but we show them absolutely flawless and the list goes on and on…………..but wait, for whom and why do we make them look so perfect, yet unreal?

What bothers is the fact that we do this all and much more, intentionally. Social media is one big major factor that we crave for showing our perfections to the other around us. Earlier there was a time when people used to hide their happy moments left to be cherished within the confines of life. But now we are living in an ultra modish era that offers us ample opportunities to portray the best out of us which at time saves us crave for that sort or perfection in every aspect of our life, making us struggle real hard all day long, rush through the facts of life, trying to display things that look surreal and great.

Starting with ourselves for that matter, it is important for us to look great by all means. All of us thrive towards looking lean, with the best of outfits, most established brands, great make up and what not. There is no harm in maintaining oneself, however we need to see the border wherein we try to world harder that we actually should, can’t we just be real?

Each of us have some of the unique charms in our appearances that makes us look and feel good, we should highlight the same and stay beautiful and real. All week long, we struggle enough for our homes to look great, over-looking the time we had to spend with family being used to make the things around sparkle and clean. This time belonged to our family and kids to love; cherish and spend happy times together and enhance the bond between us. So are we being real here?

We spend more than half of our lives re-collecting perfection in all the endeavors we deal with. We crave and thrive hard to put our best step out and that too, perfectly crafted for the others to talk about it, cherish and adore it, which is again a fake aspect that we like. Even if the other claim being happy about our perfection and success, while they really are not, is again an unreal and ugly truth of life. But the worst part is that we already know about this fact, but we disagree accepting it, the facts and the truth, hereby being perfect here as well……why, well it remains unanswered, largely!
